SimplyHealth Great North Run 2018 · 9 September 2018 ·
Me and Chris have decided to run the great north run (again) and managed to rope my mam into doing it too! We are doing it for Positively Pink which lies under the Bright charity at Rake Lane hospital in North Tyneside.
Positively Pink is a breast cancer charity which support patients throughout and after their cancer journey, they run monthly support groups to provide support and friendship. Positively Pink have helped to raise money to create and provide such things as reconstruction support groups, top to toe services in oncology, acupuncture clinics, hair loss services and counselling programmes for patients and families as well as many more.
Positively pink is a charity very close to me as most of you will know my mam has beaten cancer breast cancer and is running alongside us this year! Without the help of positively pink as a family we wouldn't have been able to be as positive and strong as we have been since. Positively pink supports not just the patient but the full family.
Please donate to this fantastic cause to spur us on as me and Chris haven’t ran since we crossed the finishing line last year and my mam thinks she’s lost the plot.
Thank you!!
