Story

Hi guys,

Thanks for taking the time to have a read

My best friend and I (mainly Cristian, who grew up on the Isle) have decided to take part in Walk the Wight 2020 (their 30th year running the event). The fundraising event is for a brilliant charity based on the Isle or Wight, Mountbatten hospice. These amazing people over end of life care to over 1000 people a day and without their support many families or individuals would be alone to struggle with the care needed.

What’s involved, so I have agreed to walk 26.4 miles in one day in an attempt at raising as much as I possible can for this great cause - since signing up I have been informed that it is not appropriate to hire a motorised vehicle for any of the distance... so it’ll all be done by foot on 10th May 2020!

This is a huge and very ambitious attempt for me as I have never done anything it before but I hold care given by anyone very close to my heart, this is for you mum!
