Story

In December last year we lost Dad to a courageous 5 1/2 year battle with cancer. His last months and weeks were under the wonderful care of Manorlands Hospice.

I will be running the 26.2 miles to say thank you to all the staff that cared for him and supported my family during these difficult times.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated so that they can continue to help families like ours.

Dad was still with us when Sue Ryder confirmed my place so I know he will be watching down.

A message from Sue Ryder:

Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether thats a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition they're there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.
