Hi all, 

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I’m running the Great North Run this year up in lovely Newcastle. It’s my second time running it and my aim is to raise £1000 for the British Lung Foundation! I run for the BLF on a regular basis to help raise money for all those suffering with a lung condition. My Dad has sarcoidosis so this is a special charity to me and one that means a lot to my family. The GNR is an amazing race (and occasion) and I’m very lucky to be running in it! Last time, in 2014, I got 1 hr 30 mins 2 seconds! So this year I’m hoping to get under the 1.5hr mark ;) Please help me to achieve that by donating what you can......any amount would be wonderful and would definitely help to push me under that 1.5hr barrier (if I’m very lucky then I’ll try and get under 1hr 25 mins!).

There’s a sweepstake on this one too to make it more fun. £5 minimum bet and you can guess my finish time to the nearest 20 seconds (slots are on the minute, 20 seconds past the minute and 40 seconds past the minute, eg. 1 hr 29 mins is a guess and then 1 hr 29 mins 20 seconds is the next slot, 1 hr 29 mins 40 seconds the next and so on). Prize to the winner! 😉 (to be revealed once the race is over). 

Training has been going well but I’m way off the date yet. I hope to get somewhere between 1 hr 23 mins and 1 hr 35 mins.......but I have been known to pick up injuries so anything could happen really 😉
