I'm planning to climb Mont Blanc in September 2022. I'm already training, and will be out in Chamonix for almost 2 weeks to do the climb - as the highest mountain in West Europe (4,810m), altitude acclimatisation is essential.

I've been a member of Warwickshire Search and Rescue for about 2 years now, and believe passionately in what we do - searching for vulnerable missing people. In almost every case, they are suffering from dementia, mental health issues or feeling depressed or suicidal, and they need our help. The team has a huge fundraising challenge to raise the money to replace our ageing rescue vehicles.

To be clear, I am paying for the trip myself, so ALL money raised will go to the charity - this is not you sponsoring me to go on holiday!
