For me this is unfinished business. A long time goal of a 4 hour marathon after missing out on a hot Edinburgh day in 2009. This year is fourth time lucky after I beat training and training didn't beat me.

Choosing a charity is always difficult as we can all think of connections to many worthy causing. I choose the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation after meeting an old friend after 20 years who'd already made such a positive impact on many people with impressive weight loss stories. Then as a non smoker to be diagnosed with Lung cancer.
