Nichiless's London to Geneva 2017 page

London to Geneva 2017 · 19 July 2017
As you many know, in May 2015 I was diagnosed with an incurable, combination of low and high grade diffuse large B-cell non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma - a blood cancer. I immediately had surgery to remove the enlarged nodes above the diaphragm and biopsies of those below. I then transferred to The Christie Hospital where a combination of superbly supported 'watch & wait', life affirming psycho-Oncology, and, in November 2016, a two-and-a-half week course of radiotherapy appears to have given me my life back. I'm now back doing the job I love; teaching physics and chemistry to,
ahem
, 'adoring' teens in an exceptional school. I am now about to commence the next stage of my new life - that of fatigue management and re-discovering what is possible.
