I am running the Cambridge Half Marathon to support the great work of Addenbrooke's Abroad, a global health charitable programme, under ACT. Addenbrooke's Abroad manages global health partnerships, enabling long term sustainable change in healthcare worldwide. Over the past 10 years, Addenbrooke's Abroad has worked in 59 countries and improved healthcare delivered to millions of patients around the world.  

I was lucky to have had the chance to volunteer to El Salvador through Addenbrooke's Abroad last year. I experienced first hand the improvements and lasting impact they have enabled in maternal and neonatal healthcare across the country.
