Fundraising for Without Wings
Story
The charity provides an important resource to those on the Isle of Man who have been diagnosed with a variety of Autoimmune diseases.
1. Raise awareness and challenge misconceptions of these often misunderstood illnesses
2. Provide useful information for sufferers in a positive and inspirational manner
3. Provide financial support via short term funding for essential services when sufferers are most 'without wings,' or freedom - either physically, or emotionally.
As you may or may not know I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus at 27 and Sjogrens Syndrome a while later which, whilst it will never be cured, it can be managed.
The Isle of Man has a large population of people with these lifelong illnesses and Without Wings is unique in raising awareness of autoimmune arthritis-related illnesses and creating support.
I am not going to kill myself in the process, and, as it's my first one I have decided that Peel would be a good stopping point! The pubs are just coincidental :)
Please help me raise some much appreciated and well-needed funds for this worthy Charity.
