As most of you will know this year has been a challenging year for my family as the person dearest to my heart, my Mum has been diagnosed with cancer. In her fight, she has taught all of us around her how strength, love, support and philosophy make up the human side of what is needed from everbody to get through this together and no-one has these attributes more than her. She is coming out the other side now which is great news and to celebrate I have packed in all my bad habits ( of which there have been many!) and I have started to run, slowly, so that I can give thanks back to those that have helped make my Mum's story a success story with a happy ending. This is very dear to my heart having lost my Nan to breast cancer a number of years ago.
