Story

After 2 weather cancellations on Saturday 22nd June, I finally managed to do the jump – 3rd time lucky!

It was an incredible experience; we did a 2-mile freefall from 15,000ft – travelling at 120mph for 60 seconds before the chute opened.

The skydive on Saturday was amazing, but for me I also had a truly emotional moment when I met and swapped stories with a brilliant brave woman who was supported by Trevi.

I feel truly privileged to have jumped with her, an experience I will never forget.

For all brilliant and brave women everywhere.

HUGE thanks to all of you who supported me and this incredible charity

THIRD TIME LUCKY - 22nd June 2024

UPDATE - 2nd weather cancellation on 23rd March

UPDATE - poor weather cancelled the jump but it’s now re-schedule for 23rd March 2024

More time to fundraise!!!! Please keep giving x

Hi all,

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

On 30th September I will be doing a sky dive from 15,000 ft to raise funds for Trevi and the amazing work that they do to help transform the lives of women and children.

Trevi is an award-winning women’s and children’s charity based in South West England. They provide safe and nurturing spaces for women in recovery to heal, grow and thrive.

Your support will help Trevi ensure that more women and children have the chance to break free from trauma and abuse and are given a fresh start in life.

Please take a few minutes to read about Trevi below, or visit their website to find out more. https://trevi.org.uk/

Every 15 minutes a child is taken into care. Sadly, domestic abuse, addiction and mental ill health is on the rise. Trevi are working towards changing this by providing vital services including a residential rehabilitation centre exclusively for mothers and their children plus a women's centre which provides counselling, 1-1 support and accredited courses to help women work through their trauma. Trevi transform despair into hope.

Trevi run three centres:

1. Jasmine Mother’s Recovery (formerly known as Trevi House) – a residential rehabilitation centre exclusively for mothers and their children.

2. A Sunflower Women’s Centre offering wrap-around therapeutic support in the community.

3. Daffodil Family Centre, a residential family centre.

Trevi is the lead partner for the Southwest Women’s Spark Project; which aims to prevent women with multiple disadvantages, being affected by violence and abuse; ultimately achieving a better-quality of life.

Trevi also run the Pause Plymouth practice, supporting hard-to-reach women who have had two or more children removed – cited as the most successful Pause practice in the country.

The difference Trevi made 2021-2022

Trevi supported over 700 women with our services in 2021/2022.

At the Jasmine Mother’s Recovery rehabilitation centre, 84% of women detoxed; 80% of children remained with their mother.

In 2021 Jasmine saved the public purse a massive £7.74MILLION. 88% of women supported through our Sunflower Women’s Centre said it was a lifeline, with 82% being able to move forward in life.

The Daffodil Family Centre  achieved a ‘GOOD’ Ofsted rating on its first inspection since opening in 2020.The Sunflower Seeds has supported 45 women and children with contact sessions through its national accredited contact centre.
