I was under the care of the urology department at the hospital over a 4 year period and am forever grateful to the staff who helped me through a difficult period in my life. In particular, the Lead Nurse provided unwavering kindness and support.

Having experienced fantastic care firsthand, I have taken the opportunity to assist specialist urology sisters at a weekly clinic, providing practical and emotional support to patients. Volunteer work has enabled me to witness just how busy the nurses are and the valuable care provided to patients.

BSUH Charity aims to raise income to improve further the experience of every patient.

I have registered for the IOW Endurance Challenge in April. This event involves a non-stop,106k trek along the Island coastline and is categorised by the organisers as "tough". The trek will generate a fair bit of personal discomfort and sleep deprivation, but I am committed to raising funds for medical equipment, research projects for urology understanding and staff development.
