Story
I've been fortunate to have done the LondonSurrey 100 for the last 3 years. No one race is the same and it continues to be a great challenge. I have not raced for a charity before and this year thought it would be great to combine the challenge of the ride with raising money and awareness for a charity that does some great work in helping blind and visually impaired ex-service men, women and their families. I am not blind or visually impaired and I cannot imagine the impact that being blind or visual impaired would have on ones day to day life.
Whilst I do not personally know any veterans supported by Blind Veterans UK, I am very impressed by the work that Blind Veterans UK does through its 3 centres at Brighton, Llandudano and Sheffield and its network of welfare staff and would ask you to support me through this 'justgiving' webpage so that I can support Blind Veterans UK.
It is a great cause, does some great work and makes a real difference to ex-service men and women lives.
