It’s officially happened, In October I will be completing  26 miles for Cynthia Spencer hospice in the London 2021 marathon!! I am so grateful to be given this opportunity. I have worked at the hospice for 11 years now as a health care assist. And what better way to celebrate the 45 year anniversary of this amazing charity by raising money.

We have such a fantastic team that altogether provide such vital care for patients and their family’s on their palliative journey. This is from the nursing staff on the inpatient unit, family work team, the day hospice team, hospice at home, admin, hotel services, the volunteers, OTs/physios, fundraising team, I could go on. But more importantly we can’t do it with out you.

£5 could pay for someone to enjoy a complimentary therapy session

£15 could pay for an hours hospice @ home visit

£24 Could fund a patient and carer to be taught techniques to help manage their symptoms

£42 Per month (£504 a year) will pay for one day’s patient care in the Hospice

Whatever you can contribute will all help towards this fantastic cause
