Jaden is part of the Cardiff Martial Arts Taekwondo school here is Cardiff. As part of a year long challenge, I have been presented with the challenge to take up Kickboxing along side Jaden and to attempt at least 1 grading and 1 competition. For those of you who know me, a year long activity can be very hard for me to sustain! My attention span can vary, which is why by taking on this challenge it will focus my energy and challenge my ability that I might/ might not have in accomplishing this goal with the help of Cardiff Martial Arts Taekwondo and Kickboxing school.

Part of the challenge is to raise money and awareness for the Touch Trust foundation.

Touch Trust is a registered charity based in Cardiff, at the iconic Wales Millennium Centre. They provide unique creative movement programmes for individuals with learning disabilities, those affected by autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), complex needs, behaviour which challenges, and other vulnerable groups in the community.

I have an aim and a goal, and all I am asking for my friends, is for you to part with  just £2 each, and imagine the contribution and the changes you will be making towards a great cause. Whilst I sweat and moan in pain, week in week out and hoping not to get any injuries along the way in the Kickboxing class ( way out of my comfort zone ), this will be all part of a worthy cause and of course to see me in action through Kickboxing. Jaden will be doing his bit by attending the Taekwondo classes that he is already excelling in ( better than me! HA!) He has already attempted many gradings and 2 competitions! I better move fast! :)

There are many events that Jaden and I  will be taking part in, one of them being a Spar-a-thon July 5th 2014! That should be good fun to do.
