Story

I, and others on the challenge have either served or are serving in the military. During my time I have undergone knee surgery as a result of the rigours of the job. It is right that any veteran is properly supported after they have left the services and the proposed Veterans Wing at RJAH is an excellent way of achieving that.

We are undertaking a 4500 mile motorcycle challenge to what is widely referred to as mainland Europe's most northerly point called Nordkapp. It is beyond the Arctic Circle and averaging 300+ miles per day should see us arrive in about a week. We will be passing through the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and finally Norway en route. It should prove quite a challenge and quite painful at times, especially paying Swedish prices for a glass of beer!
