Story

Risking life and limb (and dignity) for charity!

We are taking on the challenge of a muddy assault course with 19 obstacles, including the fearsome sounding 'The Wall', 'Big Ladder' and Water Jump. We have to work as a team to get everyone round and up/over/under/through all the obstacles  - it does say some of the team may need a pull on occasion!

We're doing this at 9am on Saturday 1st October in order to raise money for our chosen homelessness charity Porchlight  http://www.porchlight.org.uk and for the Kent Medway Charity Team (which has the aim of supporting and promoting green travel to school and health and wellbeing initiatives).

The team chose Porchlight as we were all aware of its local base in Canterbury and we all understand how important having a home, friends and support network are. With winter approaching the idea that anyone should be on the streets suffering and with no-one to turn to saddens us all. We'd therefore love you to help us to support them by donating!!

70% of the funds that we raise will be going to Porchlight, the other 30% will be donated to the Kent and Medway Charity Team.

We may even do the course in fancy dress  - there's just some creative differences to iron out before we reveal the theme!! But we'll share the pictures afterwards. Please donate to help us reach our target as added motivation to haul ourselves out of bed and round a muddy course early on a Saturday morning.

Any sum will be gratefully received. Thank you!
