Update 11 July - we have now received an initial vet bill of £396.03 for Milly's surgery. We are very grateful for all of your donations and support so far, thank you :-). We will update if there are further costs involved in follow-up visits/treatment etc.

Hi, I'm little Milly, a new arrival (and little cutie, so I'm told!) at Oldies Club, a small volunteer-run charity that rescues and rehomes older dogs in the UK.

I was placed in a lovely Oldies Club foster home in June 2016 and went for my vet check soon after arrival, where the vet advised that, along with having cataracts in both eyes, I very sadly have glaucoma in my left eye and recommended that the eye be removed :-( My right eye is thankfully not thought to be causing me any pain currently.

I am having surgery to have my eye removed on Monday 4 July and so I have set up this fundraising page - with a little help - in the hope of raising money to help Oldies Club with my vet bills. We don't yet know how much my operation and any aftercare will cost, so we are starting off with a £0 total. If you can spare any amount towards the costs that would be wonderful. Please keep me in your thoughts on Monday too and as I recover from the surgery.
