Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Oakthorpe's JustGiving page. The 24 hour Danceathon used to be a biennial tradition for Oakthorpe and the U6th decided last term that it was high time it was resurrected. The Oakthorpe girls love music and dancing and they have decided to put themselves to the test to see whether they can keep the dance moves going for a whole 24 hour period. From 12pm on Saturday 14th January until 12pm on Sunday 15th January there will be a continual party in the Dance Studio - year groups will be taking it in turns to ensure that the groove doesn't stop.

We would love it if you could help us to raise money for Suchhope which the school voted as the school charity for the year. It is a charity dear to our hearts as it was established by Mr Chitsenga in the Maths department, and it does great work with children in Sub-Saharan Africa. We would also welcome the company of any parents or staff who want to help us reach our goal - so put on your dancing shoes and bring your best moves.
