Story
Hi everyone,
It is traditional to mark the occasion of my barmitzvah by raising money for a charity that means something to me. I was born at the University College London Hospital and was put into the special neonatal care unit when I was a day old. My mum and dad told me how totally amazing these people were and I would like to raise to money to help UCLH Neonatal as much possible. They look after sick and premature babies and ask for no thanks. Although the NHS funds this hospital, there are so many things that they cannot afford and I would really like to help them and thank them for looking after me when I was a baby.
I have decided to walk the 9 miles from my house in Barnet to the Neonatal hospital in Euston to raise sponsorship and will walk half the way with my mum and half with my dad.
Please help me raise money - I would be so grateful but the Neonatal hospital would be even MORE grateful.
Thanks in advance - Dylan!! xxx

The University College London Hospital (UCLH) neonatal fund relaunched as Early Lives on World Prematurity Day 2018. Early Lives brings together doctors, nurses, therapists and veteran parents. We support all aspects of life on the UCLH neonatal unit and key to this is building a community of supporters. Help us by staying in touch, getting involved and celebrating the work and success of the unit.We also raise funds to support the babies, families and staff in the unit. By paying for things like specialist equipment, family facilities, staff training and neonatal research, Early Lives enhances the care provided by the neonatal team and covers costs for things that are not funded through the NHS. You can support our work by making a donation or fundraising on our behalf
