Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I became interested in running when Harry and Jessica were 2 or 3. I would run a couple of times a week, sometimes up to 6 miles or so but never took it very seriously. 

When Harry died I couldn't even bear to put one foot in front of the other and had no interest in taking up running again. I actually couldn't imagine EVER running again!

However when I co-founded Harrys Rainbow with my husband Lee, in memory of Harry, Lee had an idea that we could fundraise by creating a running team. Well we did just this and me and a bunch of girl friends would go running once a week. We gradually built back up and I started to fallback in love with running again! 

I have run 5 half marathons now but the though of a marathon still terrifies me! My running buddies at Harrys Rainbow Runners have encouraged me and spurred me on and I've decided that it's time to put those doubts to the back of mind and just enter! So here I am!
