Story

Our Team - Lads on the Run!

We are a group of friends, Oisin Coleman, Rian Timmins Rourke, Tommy McGuigan and Fionnan Galvin in 1st Year secondary school.  When we heard that Dublin Zoo was running out of money we decided we should do something to help as we all love going to the zoo every summer with our families. We enjoy running so we decided to set ourselves a big challenge to run a marathon of 43km because this is how far we are from Dublin Zoo! We will run it as a team in stages.

We really want to help out with raising money to feed and look after the animals during the Covid crisis until the zoo can open again. We hope our friends and families will help us out!
