During the pandemic Captain Tom stepped up to support the NHS Covid-19 by taking on his famous walk and inspiring millions to donate. We are offering the chance to raise funds in the spirit of Captain Tom for the charity of your choice.

Story

Residents and staff of The Old Vicarage Care Home in Llangollen  have pledged to walk round our oak tree 101 times on 30th April, to mark what would have been Captain Sir Tom Moore’s 101st birthday.  As he did, we are raising money for our wonderful NHS.

Residents are pledging to complete a certain number of laps, or nominate a staff member to make those laps in their name.
Some of us will wear inflatable costumes to add to the fun.
