Story

Oli tragically died in a car accident on 2nd October. His passion outside work was theatre and music, so we feel it is fitting that we should raise money for the National Youth Arts Trust (NYAT) in his memory. This charity helps talented students from disadvantaged backgrounds train in dance, music, and drama, increasing their confidence and  realising their potential in all areas of their lives.

We are incredibly proud of the young man Oli became and would love, with your help, to make a difference to the life of someone else’s child. A bursary will be created in Oli’s name by NYAT for a specific project, hopefully planned to start in 2021.

From a young age, Oli joined local theatre groups and we saw him grow from acting and singing in small productions, into playing key parts in plays such as Laurie in Little Women. When he died, he was rehearsing for a part in Avenue Q, which he loved. He lived in Stratford-upon-Avon and his love of theatre lead him to see a play at the Royal Shakespeare Company almost every week.

Drama helped Oli grow into the confident, inclusive, and articulate person he became. His experiences, without a doubt, helped him in his personal and professional life, his relationships with others, and gave him confidence in public speaking.

Oli was always keen to encourage others, supporting them and ensuring everyone felt included. We hope you agree that this is a fitting legacy for our loving and talented son and brother.
