Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I grew this 5 acre  field of sunflowers and millet 2.5 acres of each  after rabbits  ate all the winter wheat that was on it
I wanted to see if They would grow in my region , after standing in field watching bees feeding on flowers I thought it would be a shame to harvest them and would be nice to leave them for the birds to feed on over winter and came up with this idea of raising money from them for charity there is circa 40-60 thousand plants so lots of food

I will lose money on field by not harvesting them it but that's farming nowadays , I am already loosing on the rest of my crops this year with a poor harvest and poor prices but hay hoe giving something to a good cause will cheer me up if it's successful I will grow some more next year and if any one wants to sponsor the crop establishment cost get in touch lol
