IDDT 14-Mile Challenge · 9 July 2016

The InDependent Diabetes Trust supports people who live with diabetes, providing them with free comprehensive information, promoting patient choice & funding research. We help people to understand their disease & thus prevent long term complications such as sight loss, amputations & kidney failure.

Story

I am taking part in the third annual IDDT 14-mile challenge on Saturday, July 9, 2016, where I'll be running along the Brampton Valley Way from Market Harborough, in Leicestershire, to Northampton.

The IDDT is a UK charity for people living with diabetes. They recognise that when one person in a family lives with diabetes, this affects other family members and they offer support to partners and parents. The charity raises awareness of important issues for people with diabetes and provide information in non-medical language.
