Olivia's Challenge Mount Everest for Endangered Rhino Conservation

Challenge Mount Everest for Endangered Rhino Conservation · 1 May 2021
On New Year’s Day tragically two rhinos, Reine and her 5-month-old calf Maggie were brutally murdered by poachers for their horn. This is the second time this reserve has been hit by poachers and not only are innocent lives being taken away but people who dedicate their lives to these magnificent creatures have the heart ache of witnessing these tragic events.
In the hope to raise money to help protect these rhino I will be walking the distance of Mount Everest, the trek from the bottom to the top of the mountain is roughly 83km.
To walk a round trip of Roseberry Topping, a hill located in North Yorkshire, is around 4.7km. I will aiming to walk this rout 18 times which is roughly the equivalence of Mount Everest. This challenge will be set to be acheived within 3 days!
