As you may or may not know, I recently applied (and was accepted) to the ANTHONY NOLAN donation list and, if called upon, I may have to donate stem cells and/or bone marrow. This process is designed to help those affected with blood cancer, a truly wonderful cause I am sure you will agree!

It costs them £60.00 to find ONE person to donate their stem cells or bone marrow. That is a worryingly low number in comparison to the number of people who die from blood cancer every year.

Unfortunately, blood cancer affects a large number of people. Every 20 minutes, someone in the UK is told they have a blood cancer. That’s 70 people a day, 25,000 people a year.

This is a number that I would love to try and reduce, but I need YOUR help.

As part of this campaign, I am holding a barbecue which will include various games and activities. I am also donating a percentage of each job that I do through my business, throughout the months of June, July and August.
