PILATESATHON · 5 June 2010
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving for Pilatesathon 2010
at the Pilates Gymnasium, Windsor Marina
In aid of Alexander Devine Children’s Cancer Trust (www.adcct.com)
We are aiming to complete 136 hours of Pilates on machines this June all before the longest day of the year. Actually, when we say ‘we’, in fact, we mean you.
Everyone is welcome, existing members are invited to complete as much time as they want to and can fit in to busy schedules. Husbands, wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, mates from the rugby / rowing / golf / squash club / office are limited to one hour each.
1 - Pick a date (yes we know it is the world cup but you still have time to come along, do an hour and be down the pub with pint in hand and a virtuous aura about you having done an hour’s training and raised a load of cash for this great charity..)
Saturday June 5th 12.30 to 5.30
Saturday June 12th 12.30 to 5.30
Sunday June 20th 10.30 to 5.30 (People taking dad out can have morning priority!)
(We are going out to celebrate the money raised and Sam’s birthday after this on Sunday 20th June)
2 - Book in a time slot by callling us on 01753 832992, we have pens poised and diary at the ready
3 - Once you and your friends are booked into the diary, we will add you all as team members on the Just Giving page, so you can send out the link and get sponsors. http://www.justgiving.com/POWMAK. Or you can do it the old fashioned way and pick up a sponsorship form and bring donation on the day.
4 - Tell everyone you know so that we fill all the slots and reach our target of 136 hours total Pilates on machines – maybe we will get in the Guinness Book of Records!
5 - If you are a member please do a session in addition to your regular sessions so that it feels more like an intrepid additional effort..
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
