Zip World Velocity · 13 May 2018

We have a very clear vision: a world where people's lives are no longer limited by Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Story

On the 13th May 2018, Danny and I will be going on the longest Zipwire in Europe - which just so happens to be the fastest Zipwire in the world. At it's fastest, the zipwire can go around 120mph!

Here is a Youtube video showing what we will be doing:

We are doing this for the charity Action Duchenne. Action Duchenne help to fund research to treat and cure Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy which is one of the most severe muscular dystrophies. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy mainly affects males and has a 100% fatality rate with men living to their 20's or 30's.

We will be travelling down to Wales where we will meet up with some of my work colleagues. The charity we are riding for is close to one of my colleague's hearts as they have family who have been affected by this condition.

Danny and I would appreciate any donations for the cause - our target is £400.

Thank you!
