I have been trekking and fundraising for Macmillan cancer suport for 15 years. This will be my 12th trek with them. Over the years I have raised almost £43,000 by trekking in Peru, Iceland, China, the Sahara desert, Jordan, Cambodia, Nepal and many other amazing places. I have always paid for my own treks and enjoy helping Macmillan as a volunteer, giving talks, raising money at events and helping by collecting for them. They are an amazing organisation who help so many at very difficult times in their lives. Macmillan Cancer Support provides nurses, specialist GP’s and oncologist along with financial advice, grants and information services. By undertaking this trek I will hope to raise around £4,000 for them.
