Pamela Breeze

Chris Breeze is raising money for Alzheimer's Research UK
In memory of Pam Breeze
Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity. We’re striving for a cure, by revolutionising the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia.

Story

Pamela Diane Breeze died peacefully at Braid Hills Care Home of pneumonia resulting from Frontotemporal Dementia on 17 March aged 73. Beloved wife of David, much loved mother of Simon and Christopher, mother-in-law of Catherine and Jessica, grandmother of Jamie, Ailsa, Connie, Chester, Avery and Keira and sister of Graham.

Arrangements have been made for the donations to go to the UK Dementia Research Institute based at the University of Edinburgh where the unit headed by Professor Tara Spires-Jones is undertaking research on the form of dementia from which Pamela suffered: https://www.alzheimersresearchuk.org/how-you-can-help/donate/donate-in-memory/

For those interested, the funeral will take place at St Peter’s Church, Lutton Place, Edinburgh EH8 9PE at 3.30 on 12 April. No flowers please - donations to Alzheimers Research UK (please mark ‘in memory of Pamela Breeze’).

For those wishing to attend the funeral, please note that there is no parking at St Peter’s Church though there is in the streets around. Pamela’s family will take her to the crematorium before the church service, so the church service will be a celebration of her life. We invite you to wear some colour at the church service. After the service there will be refreshments in the church hall.
