We are a group of staff working on the stroke unit at Airedale Hospital.

We aim to raise money to buy a ‘tilt in space’ shower chair for our patients to use on the unit.

To shower is such a basic human right however people with strokes often loose the ability to be able to sit/stand without support of staff and/or equipment.

We have recently had a ward upgrade and now have four fantastic wet rooms with showers but require this chair to support a group of our patients that still struggle to access them due to the level of their disability.
