Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My step up for 30 has started to day  💜💚- so for the next thirty days my Instagram stories will be all about #mystepupfor30 . Graeme (hubby) was diagnosed 5 years ago and thanks to a fabulous team of a local GP, surgeon , oncologist & nursing staff at Crosshouse hospital he counts himself as one of the lucky ones.

Don't be scared to go and get checked if you notice changes in your Bowel habits - we are so lucky in Scotland that there is a screening system in place but you have to be 50 before that little packet drops through your letter box - don't bin it - do it - that little bit of 'shit' could save your life.

Someone dies of Bowel Cancer every 30 minutes in the UK - it's the UK's second biggest cancer killer. By taking this step up for 30 challenge and raising money this June I am hoping to raise money to help vital research and lifesaving work for @bowelcanceruk
For those who know me, know I walk to and from work every day so I am not including that in my 30 minutes . I am going to push myself a bit further and try different exercise and maybe even manage a jog 👍🏻
