I have never done any fund raising this way before however in light of the outstanding effort our key workers are making, I felt compelled to make a suitable effort.

My name is Pamerjit Kaur – Clement, or Pam to those who know me,  and I too am a key worker. I’m looking to raise around £500 to help support the NHS staff and volunteers who are caring for us all whilst we fight this Covid -19 epidemic.

I have always run on a treadmill at the gym, and taken part in local Parkruns at the weekend but have never been one to run outside, as I’ve not been very confident to run outside.

Since lockdown I have began to face my fears and started running outside. I’d like to push myself by setting a target of 30km each week until the end of lockdown,  and in doing so raise £500 for such a well deserved cause. I will be running locally and  will be joined each day for the first couple of miles by my 8 year old daughter India.

The NHS were there for me when I was diagnosed as having pre cancerous cells which thankfully they were able to successfully treat, and every day as I see my daughter grow I am grateful for all they have done.

I am determined to run in all weather conditions to ensure I achieve my goal so please help encourage me by donating generously and further my cause.
