Some of you may know that I was lucky enough to have a Stem Cell Transplant for MDS on the 21st November 2019. Doug, my hubby and my rock, was there for me every step of the way and thanks to him, my family and the NHS I am doing extremely well and God willing I’m on the road to a full recovery.

Unfortunately Doug got diagnosed with terminal cancer earlier this year but because of COVID-19 I couldn’t even be with him when he was told this dreadful news. None of us could visit him in hospital or attend appointments with him and that may be the case in the months ahead too. 

For this charitable event on behalf of MDS, I hope that he will enjoy 20 min of pampering every day for 20 days from the 1st November up to his birthday on the 20th November and possibly beyond.....Incidentally my “2nd Birthday” is on the 21st November, so we’ll be having a double celebration. 

We’ve come up with some ideas like foot massages and back tickles but would welcome “sensible” ideas along with your appropriate donation depending on the idea you have :-)
