Mosame Trust is a charity my mum set up to help AIDS orphans in Cameroon (West Africa). Since her death in 2006, we are now sponsoring 17 orphans and the charity main aim is to provide foster care, education and job opportunities to help orphans and abandoned children to fully integrate in their community, and live a decent and happy lifestyle. The charity also sponsors development projects and micro businesses to empower the villagers to generate enough income to care for more orphans. A donation of £5 a month could pay for the education, healthcare and welfare of an orphan for the entire year.

I am looking to raise money to provide rechargeable solar lamps for the school children. The children are currently using kerosene lamps to read and do their homework, and are exposed to toxic fumes and various infections. Your donation will provide a green source of lighting, preserve a good health and maintain a clean environment for their learning and development.
