Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Kevoirdo's BIG LOVE was brought together by Patti Boyle. Her son, Kevin left home at 12.30pm on 12th October 2011. He told her that he was going to work. 101 days later his remains were discovered in a local area known as ‘Happy Valley.’

Kevin, it turns out, had purchased an online suicide kit to complete his death from a website selling suicide as ‘Deliverance.’

In 2011, more men under 35 died from suicide in the UK and NI than road accidents, murder and HIV/Aids combined. Government figures suggest an estimated cost to the economy of £1.7 million per suicide. The reason this isn’t headline news is that it combines a toxic mix of two subjects which are either taboo or are just plain unacceptable - suicide and ‘fallible men’. Kevin was an amazing human being an excellent chef and a heart full of BIG LOVE.

CALM are doing great work to help SAVE THE MALE... DIG DEEP and help us help them. THANK YOU x
