Sheffield Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (also known as Sheffield Rape Crisis) is a specialist service offering free and confidential support to help to empower anyone (over 13 years old) who has experienced rape or sexual abuse at any times in their lives.

Story

Every year, with the support of Unite and the University of Sheffield Students’ Union, I host a free film screening to celebrate International Women's Day and raise money for women's charities. I'm launching this page to give you the opportunity to donate if you are not able to attend, or if you would like to contribute in advance of the event.

This year I am supporting Sheffield Rape Crisis (SRASAC) and Ashiana Sheffield. Sheffield Rape Crisis provides support for victims of rape and sexual abuse by offering a confidential helpline, as well as support, counselling and advice. Ashiana works with Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugees (BAMER) women and children fleeing domestic and sexual abuse and trafficking.

Any donations you can give will help these charities continue to provide vital support to women across Sheffield.
