Story

Thank you for visiting my virtual London Marathon fundraising page - this means that I will be running the 26.2 miles around South London streets and parks away from the crowds in Greenwich and the Embankment.

Refuge raises funds and awareness for survivors of domestic abuse. Your donations will help Refuge provide services such as the freephone National Domestic Abuse Helpline which is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

At least part of my run will be through Sutcliffe and Cator Parks - every other virtual race I have done over the last 18 months has covered those paths.  Sadly, the latter was the park was where Sabina Nessa was murdered.

Raising money for Refuge won’t protect women in those and other parks but it will provide support and safe places in other aspects of their lives.  If you are able to chip in a bit to help fund those services, it would be fantastic.

Thank you so much for visiting.
