The Project

The saline lagoons and saltmarsh are currently under threat as the manmade structures: a pine pile wall and a stone wall which protect them from tidal inundation, are rapidly deteriorating and in need of renewal and major repair.

£10 will pay for one Pine Post

£50 will pay for 1 metre of pine piling  

£100 will pay for 1square metre of stone wall repair                                                                    

The walls provide a much loved circular walk at the National Nature Reserve, as well as protecting the rare saline lagoon wildlife and the archaeology associated with a long history of salt production.
