My aim is to complete the marathon in memory of my dad Trevor Grills who sadly lost his life in 2013 as the result of a tragic accident he was involved in while preparing for a gig with the fishermans friends.
Dad was a proud Cornish man who loved his family, his home in port Isaac, watching his three boys play football and making the most of the opportunities that came his way especially in the last few years of his life.
He was an ambassador of the trust and a huge supporter of all the fantastic work it does for people with learning disabilities. Growing up with his brother John who has down's syndrome made dad really appreciate the work organistions like the Brandon trust do everyday.
I know he would be extremely proud to see the trust is still being supported in his memory.
