Story

I will be venturing to the top of Gran Paradiso (the highest mountain in Italy at 4061m or 13,320 feet) on 3rd - 8th October 2017. In doing so I hope to raise as much money as possible towards Naomi House & Jacksplace (Wessex Children's Hospice Trust).

It costs Naomi House & Jacksplace £5,800 to provide just one day of care. The government currently fund just 10% of the income to support this incredibly important charity. This is why the support they receive from fundraising events like my trek to the top of Gran Paradiso is vital to the support of the hospice.

Here are just some examples of how your money makes a difference:

  • £150 could fund 1 day of nursing care for a child
  • £285 could fund a hydrotherapy session for a child
  • £1,918 could fund a long weekend respite break for a child

I have set an initial target to raise at least £2,500. All money received will go toward supporting this incredible charity to continue their great work in providing hospice care to more than 340 life-limited and life-threatened children, young people and their extended families. So please dig deep and donate whatever you can to this incredibly important charity.
