Tough Mudder? Pfft! IronMan? Bah! The Muddy Dog Challenge is as extreme as it gets, a 5k romp through some muddy bits, running along  a plank without falling off (that's the dog, not me, or at least I hope so) and probably some slaloming in and out of poles or cones or something. And all this in the extreme conditions that only a May morning in Windsor can provide! All this heroism is not for personal glory, although glory there may be, but rather to raise money for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. And to give the kids a good laugh at my expense as I inevitably fall off/in things at pretty much every obstacle and come out looking like a mud monster. We reckon the dog will enjoy it too.
