In March 2017 Rob Sibcy and I will be taking on heat, sand and general exhaustion trekking 100km through the Sahara Desert. As somebody who does his utmost to avoid exercise of any sort this is obviously going to be quite an undertaking for me!

Now of course we're not doing this just because we fancied a relaxing weekend away! We are raising money for Beaumond House, whose work is an invaluable service to the local community. As part of their 30th anniversary celebrations they've given us the opportunity to explore something fantastic, while also helping care for those that need it most.


So, what do I actually want?
Well, money, obviously! We're going to be doing anything we can to fundraise, so every penny you can spare (don't forget Gift-Aid for an extra 25% free!) is obviously very much appreciated. Similarly, if there's anything you can do to help us raise extra (sharing posts with friends and groups, offering suggestions or support in fundraising events etc) it would also be a major bonus!

Lastly, a quick bit of legal stuff. I have to state that a small portion of the £1,600 minimum I have to raise will go towards the trip itself (camels aren't free!), with the rest being made up by myself.
