In January 2018 I, Pauline, was diagnosed with a rare cancer of the Peritoneum.  In July that year I had a ten hour operation to try & remove the disease. It is a very difficult and intricate operation & my thanks go out to the wonderful team at Basingstoke Hospital.

Sadly, a year later a scan revealed that there was a reoccurrence. That was two years ago and since then I have been just getting on with my life, doing all the things I love doing, and will continue to do so.

In June 2021 myself and dear friends, Sarah, Nikki and Catherine will be walking the The South Coast Macmillan Mighty Hike over 26 miles together, to stick two fingers up to the disease that affects so many and raise as much as we can for Macmillan. It’s safe to say this will be a huge challenge for all of us, but if we can get through 2020, we can definitely face this!  Please, if you can, help us to reach our target to raise money for this wonderful charity that provides such life changing support to people and families affected by cancer.
