I gave up cigarettes last October (and am still smoke free) thus this is the next stage of my mission to remove all fun from my life.

For 31 days I will be off the booze and hoping to raise money for a good cause.  Marie Stopes International provides contraception to over 18 million women in 37 countries, mainly in the developing world.  By providing women the means to choose their future this is estimated to prevent 5.4 million unintended pregnancies last year alone and 16,100 maternal deaths in the same period.

Whilst the idea has been brought to my attention by Macmillan, which I am grateful for, I am wholly against many of their aggressive fundraising tactics and so will not be raising for them myself.
