Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

Please help me to raise as much money as possible for a fantastic cause.

A few years ago my girlfriends mum (Joyce) suffered a life changing Spinal Cord Injury. Since then we have experienced the great challenges that Spinal Injured patients have to overcome each day.

From Joyce's work with Aspire we have seen first hand the great work that they do in providing practical help to people who have been paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury.

Through specialist housing, grants and Independent Living Advisors, the work of Aspire helps to give those with spinal injuries the independence most of us take for granted.

Not only this but Aspire truly practise what they preach with a significant amount of their employees having Spinal Cord Injuries themselves and hence providing employment opportunities to many who thought they may never be able to work again.
