On Sunday June 5, an intrepid group of riders will set out from the famous Niagara Falls bound for New York City on the epic UK Red Empire State 500 raising funds for Rugby League Cares. Over the next six days, the riders will follow the Erie Canal eastwards before heading south by the Hudson river towards the Big Apple. Along the way they'll pass through some historic cities, visit small-town America like never before and meet the amazing people of America's Empire State. 520 miles in six days is a huge challenge for all the riders as they head towards Broadway in Manhattan and an unforgettable finish in the iconic Central Park. All the proceeds of the ride will support RL Cares, an independent charity that makes an amazing difference to the lives of thousands of people across Rugby League communities.
