Story
Our good mate James Leeman is fighting (and winning) a battle against leukemia. We are all super proud of him and how well he is battling through his treatment, despite all sorts of bumps along the way he is kicking it in the ass.
To show we have his back and support him in his fight, we have decided to attempt completing the Welsh 3 Peak Challenge to raise money and awareness for his condition. Unfortunately we're all too old to donate stem cells to help with his treatment, instead we'll be supporting Anthony Nolan, a charity that is linked to James' treatment and close to his heart. We ask you all to sponsor generously, Anthony Nolan do amazing work for thousands of people with similar conditions to James.
This will be no easy feat, given that most of us are far from seasoned mountain hikers and 'not as fit as we used to be,' (a.k.a carrying extra timber), plus we'll be doing this in potentially extreme wintery conditions. We hope to complete the challenge in as close to 24 hours as possible, with a St Patrick's Day celebration thrown in the middle and a night out in Cardiff at the end, sure to test our mental/physical resolve.
Please do reach out to us if you're keen to join the Challenge, or for one of the peaks, or even for the rehydration drinks in Cardiff on 18th March. More the merrier!
100% of money donated will go directly to the charity.

About Anthony Nolan
Every day, Anthony Nolan saves the lives of people with a blood cancer or blood disorder. We do this by matching incredible individuals willing to donate their stem cells to people who desperately need a lifesaving transplant. We also carry out cutting edge scientific research, fund specialist post-transplant nurses and support patients and their families through the transplant process and beyond. We won’t stop until we save the lives of everyone who needs a stem cell transplant. Every penny you donate brings us closer to that day.
